Purpose of the role
As Implementation Consultant you turn a customer’s experience questions into a working CX or EX programme on the CYS platform. You sit with CX and EX leaders to understand the decisions they need to make, and you build the engine that delivers the answers: surveys, data integrations, dashboards and role-based push reports. The work asks two things of the same person. You think along on CX and EX strategy and bring the CYS method, and you have the hands to build it: you program surveys, model and connect data, and configure the platform so the insights and narratives reach the right people automatically. What ties it together is how you think – you understand how data flows, what a formula or selection does downstream, and what it takes to turn a portal full of data into a report a customer can act on. A customer conversation and the build behind it should both feel like home.
Key responsibilities
1. Thinking along in the customer’s CX/EX strategy
- Sit at the table with CX and EX owners and understand the decisions they need to make
- Translate their strategy into what to measure and the story it should produce
- Be prescriptive: bring the CYS method and guide the customer, rather than waiting to be told how
2. Building the platform that delivers insight at scale
- Program and maintain the surveys, from questionnaire logic to scripting, and make sure they are technically watertight before launch
- Integrate and model the data so it flows cleanly into the platform, and understand the impact of every selection, formula and data mutation along the way
- Configure the CYS platform, dashboards and role-based push reports so the insights and narratives are delivered automatically and at scale, instead of being assembled by hand for each report
- Use our AI skills to move fast, while you stay the judge on accuracy and data quality
3. Story-led delivery
- Run the investigation the CYS way, through Challenge, Tuning, Build & Test and Reporting
- Keep data quality and technical accuracy high: AI speeds you up, you stay the judge
- Make the method visible and repeatable across your customers
4. Customer relationship and growth
- Be the trusted face customers come back to
- Spot where more value fits, from extra research to new roles and reports, and flag it
- Bring field learnings back so we keep sharpening the method and the AI recipes
Position in the organisation
- Part of the Delivery team, working closely with Product on the platform side and with Account Management on growth
- You own the customer’s setup end to end, from the first conversation to the dashboards and push reports that land in the boardroom
Skills and qualifications
- Education: a bachelor in a technical, data or research-oriented field such as data analytics, computer science, research or social sciences, or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 to 4 years in a customer-facing analytical, research or implementation role. You have programmed or configured surveys, built reports and worked hands-on with data tooling, and you have sat in front of customers
Core competencies
- You are a strong analytical thinker: you understand how dataflows work and what formulas, selections and data mutations do downstream
- You know what data it takes to deliver a valuable report, and you work back from the decision the customer needs to make
- Comfortable building: you can configure most of a customer’s setup yourself, and you know when to pull in deeper technical help for the rest
- Strong with research and reporting tooling, and quick to use AI to do more yourself
- You think in stories and decisions as easily as in data structures
- Strong communicator who is at home in a boardroom and in the detail of the data
- Opinionated about good method, so you guide the customer instead of only executing requests
- Accuracy and data quality matter to you, even when you work at speed
A pre, not a hard requirement
- You either know your way around survey scripting, HTML and JavaScript for expert rules, or you know how to put your AI assistant to work to do it for you
- An SQL way of thinking, and comfort with databases and more complex Excel
